Cooper Plastering was founded in 1961 and over the last several decades we’ve developed a reputation for excellence.
We continue that tradition today by providing commercial plastering, stucco, EIFS, and acoustical ceilings.
We’re fully licensed, insured, and bondable in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. We’re members of TLPCA, EIMA, AWCI, the Tyler Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau.
President
Bill began working in commercial construction after earning his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1982.
He started his career at Cooper Plastering in 1995, as a project manager and estimator. He worked closely with JD Cooper, our founder, before becoming president in 2000.
He manages all of the company’s drywall operations and has decades of experience in the commercial construction industry.
Vice President
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Texas A&M, Ross immediately began working for Cooper Plastering Inc. as an estimator.
Ross became Vice President of Cooper Plastering in 2003, and he currently manages the company’s plastering operations.
Drywall Superintendent & Safety Manager
Sam Young began working in commercial drywall in 1981. He became a foreman in 1982, and by 1994 was promoted to field superintendent. Since that time, he’s overseen
approximately $250 million worth of commercial drywall installation.
Human Resources
Debbie Hall has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry. She joined Cooper Plastering in 2012, and she specializes in human resources, payroll, and administration.
Accounting
Virginia has 20 years of customer service and 15 years of accounting experience. Prior to finding her home at Cooper Plastering, she worked for Suddenlink Communications.
She handles payroll, AP & AR, collections, contract billing, inventory, and Cooper Plastering’s quarterly & yearly taxes.
