Cooper Plastering was founded in 1961 and over the last several decades we’ve developed a reputation for excellence.

We continue that tradition today by providing commercial plastering, stucco, EIFS, and acoustical ceilings.

We’re fully licensed, insured, and bondable in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. We’re members of TLPCA, EIMA, AWCI, the Tyler Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau.

Our Team

Ross Wilson

President

Ross began working for Cooper Plastering, Inc. as an estimator, shortly after earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction from Texas A&M University in 1990. In 2003, Ross became Vice president and managing partner of the company’s plastering and scaffolding operations.

January 2026, he assumed the role of company president.

Will Happney

Drywall Superintendent

With over 35 years of construction experience from being a connector during his days as an iron worker, to being a Senior Superintendent on projects ranging from 5 million to 150 million. He brings a vast knowledge of how projects come together, with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, he is an asset in the field and in the office.

Andres Hernandez

Safety Coordinator

Andres specializes in hazard identification, OSHA compliance and safety training. Having started with the company as a Scaffolding foreman in 2019, he has a first-hand perspective in recognizing on-site hazards. His unique experience is beneficial in promoting a “safety-first” culture company wide.

Virginia Shaw

Office Manager

Virginia has over 20 years of accounting experience and customer service. Cooper Plastering has been her home since 2019. She handles payroll, AP & AR, collections, contract prep, billing and closeouts, and quarterly & yearly taxes.
